NATS 2017 Early Career opportunities are now open for applications! This year we have 10 Industrial Placement opportunities and 2 Direct Entry Graduate opportunity available to students.

Industrial Placements

Our Industrial Placements are designed for students in their second year of university, who are looking for a 12 month sandwich year opportunity; this year we have 10 placement opportunities for students in the following specialisms:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Business Development (New scheme)
  • SafetyTraining Delivery Support (Business Studies)
  • Information Solutions
  • Analytics
  • Engineering
  • Finance (New scheme)
  • Project Management

Direct Entry Graduates 

Our Graduate position is available to students coming to the end of their degree. The placement will be within our Engineering and Project Management department and students will join our two-year, graduate programme, which provides a clear route for progression and development, via a mix of on-the-job training and classroom tuition.

PwC: Placement

If you’re taking a four-year degree course which includes a sandwich placement, an 11 month work placement at PwC is the perfect way to gain valuable industry experience during your penultimate year at university.

  • You’ll form part of a highly skilled team and be expected to make a useful contribution to a whole range of client projects.
  • The work can be intense at times but there’ll be plenty of fun, not to mention competitive rewards, along the way.
  • We currently have an opportunity for an IT Placement Student to join our internal IT Support Team. You will provide support and assistance to PwC staff within Northern Ireland

The role will involve:

  • Deploying applications as authorised by Technical Support Manager
  • User support – specialist applications
  • User support – core applications
  • Application housekeeping & maintenance
  • Escalating infrastructure and support issues to Technical Support Manager as required
  • Participating in local and national projects, rollouts and deployments
  • Complying with local and national standards, procedures and security policy
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by the Technical Support Manager
