Project started

We are a team of scientists from the UK (Newcastle University, Aberdeen University) and India (Jadavpur University, West Bengal State University) looking to identify sustainable restoration pathways for the Sundarban mangroves. Check out Dr Ray’s impassionate view on the topic here: https://indianexpress.com/article/technology/science/expert-explains-rare-species-sundarbans-threatened-by-human-activities-7527840/

We invite early career scientists interested in systems solutions for restoration challenges (or just interested in applying IT expertise to tricky questions) to join us in our mangroves workshop. Workshop, UK | Mangrove Resilience Project (ncl.ac.uk)
