Welcome to Newcastle University’s Study Space Finder. With a range of spaces for your use across our campus, this resource is intended to provide information on spaces to suit your needs. This includes information about:

  • Whether each location has PC or Laptop Spaces, or both
  • Whether it is for silent study
  • Opening hours
  • Room capacity
  • Accessibility details
  • feedback form to enable you to comment on the availability of study spaces, and this resource

Use the links across the top of the page to find spaces available in your faculty and those available to all students.

Please be aware of closing times and to make sure you are able to save your work, please ensure you are prepared to leave 15 minutes before closing.


When using study spaces, please be aware of adhering to guidance relating to Covid19, such as when you are required to wear a face covering. Please also ensure that you adhere to social distancing guidelines, please don’t move furniture, and it is vital that you do not exceed the room capacities in any of our spaces. Most rooms contain guidance.
