Covid19

In light of Government guidance we’ve had to limit access to the number of study spaces currently available. However, with relatively few students on campus during lockdown, you should easily be able to find space, for example in our libraries, Hadrian Building (Lindisfarne Room) or on Level One of King’s Gate.

When using study spaces, please be aware of adhering to guidance relating to Covid19, such as when you are required to wear a face covering. Please also ensure that you adhere to social distancing guidelines, please don’t move furniture, and it is vital that you do not exceed the room capacities in any of our spaces. Most rooms contain guidance.

Download our apps

Make sure you download the University’s Safezone App, for emergencies such as providing first aid should you, or another student, need support. For information on where to find Study and Social Spaces, including information on teaching clusters and when these are available for private study, download the Newcastle University App.

Find a PC

To help you see the availability of PCs in each of our study spaces, please check our PC Finder. This is a live update.

OHSS Fire Evacuation
