Duration: This internship will be undertaken over the summer vacation for a total of 375 hours on a full-time basis or 200 hours part-time. Please specify whether your application is for full or part time. Postgraduate students can undertake a maximum of 20 hours per week and are therefore eligible to apply for part-time only. You will attend business premises in South Tyneside as well as work remotely.

Event overview: Join Newcastle City Council on campus to chat informally and submit a CV for their Summer Placement. Newcastle City Council are recruiting 2 enthusiastic staff to work on short-term placements in Parking Services during the busy peak period of parking permit applications. These placements will be fixed term between 01 July 2024 and 13 September 2024 to provide seasonal support to the team processing high volumes of permit applications. The hourly rate of pay will be £12.59.
