‘First Year Fest’, an event we’re holding here at the Careers Service on Tuesday, 26th April
We’re trying the event for the first time, our thinking being now that first years have (hopefully) settled in to university life it might be a good time to remind them about how the Careers Service could support them, and especially how they might make the most of their summer.
We’ll be shut for normal business and instead be totally dedicated to first years for the day (10am-4pm), with various activities, info and advice – AND lots of free food (pastries, pizza and cake at various points!!). We’re aiming for a friendly and welcoming event, where students can find out about potentially useful things and ask anything they’d like to – nothing at all formal or intimidating.
