👩🎓 Ethics & Environment Rep – OPEN POSITION
The E&E Rep is a key part of representing student voice within the wider University. Read about our most recent rep here.
What does the role involve?
- Chair and lead a Student Environment and Sustainability Committee (SESC)
- Represent the SESC and wider student body as the student representative on the Sustainability Committee
- Support environmental campaigns and activities (e.g. Student Sustainability Week)
- Support Union events and provide a handover for your successor.
- Work with officers, staff, societies and student groups to improve sustainable practices.
- Attend relevant Union meetings, committees and training, and report back on progress.

👩🎓 Student Environment & Sustainability Committee (SESC) – OPEN FOR NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The Student Environment & Sustainability Committee (SESC) is a student-led group which looks at sustainability at the University. The SESC aims to:
- Gather feedback to take to the University’s Sustainability Committee (SC).
- Understand student priorities regarding sustainability.
The SESC is chaired by the Ethics and Environment Rep and is attended by:
- Environment & Sustainability (E&S) Reps from all academic schools – this position is open to anyone, just ask about the position at your school at the start of each academic year!
- Sustainability concerned society committee members
- Any interested students
