👩‍🎓 Ethics & Environment Rep – OPEN POSITION

What does the role involve?

• Chair and lead a Student Environment and Sustainability Committee (SESC)
• Represent the SESC and wider student body as the student representative on the Sustainability Committee
• Support environmental campaigns and activities (e.g. Student Sustainability Week)
• Support Union events and provide a handover for your successor.
• Work with officers, staff, societies and student groups to improve sustainable practices.
• Attend relevant Union meetings, committees and training, and report back on progress.

👩‍🎓 Student Environment & Sustainability Committee (SESC) – OPEN FOR NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The Student Environment & Sustainability Committee (SESC) is a student-led group which looks at sustainability at the University. The SESC aims to:

• Gather feedback to take to the University’s Sustainability Committee (SC).
• Understand student priorities regarding sustainability.

The SESC is chaired by the Ethics and Environment Rep and is attended by:

• Environment & Sustainability (E&S) Reps from all academic schools – this position is open to anyone, just ask about the position at your school at the start of each academic year!
• Sustainability concerned society committee members
• Any interested students
