  • NCLA First Thursdays: Two wonderful poets are reading their poems this Thursday, 7 March, at 1.05 pm, Percy Building, G.05. Jake Morris-Campbell is completing his PhD in Creative Writing at Newcastle University, and Lydia Kennaway is in her second year of MA in Writing Poetry. You can enjoy their poems also in this week’s and next week’s issue of Bridges.
  • On the same day, Sarah Moss is going to be in conversation with Rachel Hewitt. The topic of their talk is Moss’s sixth novel Ghost Wall. At 7.15 pm, Culture Lab.
  • One of the first short courses this coming Saturday, 9 March, is Margaret Wilkinson’s Writing for Radio.
  • Alex Reed‘s launch of his pamphlet These Nights at Home is also on Thursday at 7:30 in the Bridge Hotel, Castle Square. It is published by V. Press. You can read poet and editor Cynthia Fuller’s reaction to it here.
  • Alexandra Corrin-Tachibana‘s poem Japanese Frames is out in the March issue of Snakeskin.
