C-F Insertion reactions have many attractive features but, until recently, they have been seldom reported as methods for preparing fluorinated molecules. In our latest Concept paper in Chemistry – A European Journal, Arushi and Alex highlight the recent breakthroughs in this area and discuss the underlying strategies that can allow for successful C-F insertion processes.
