4. Presentations/Academia
2021 Virtual conference. 2nd SUA conference. Poster led by Sergio (Dr Milheiras). This poster presents on the okra pollination constraints project run by Joseph in the Agrisys landscape.
2021 Virtual. Talk and Plenary led by Sergio (Dr Milheiras). This talk highlights the agro-ecology components of the Agrisys project.
202o Bangor, Seminar at Bangor University, Hosted by Dr Isabel Rosa. This talk highlights the context for the Agrisys project and gives an introduction to it.
2019 Ghent, Seminar at Ghent University, Hosted by CAVElab. The talk provides the context for monitoring biodiversity and natural capital stock. Highlighting the need for monitoring towards both, sustainable development goals and global biodiversity targets, the slides discuss relevant concepts of human footprints, human well-being, coupled human and natural systems and sustainable resource (with ecological debts). The final slides expand on the role of our Agrisys Tanzania project in addressing the knowledge gaps to make monitoring of biodiversity and natural capital stocks feasible. Talk
