The Bauhaus is one of the most renowned experimental sites of education in the arts and in design. At regular intervals the Bauhaus Dessau invites international universities and art academies to the historic workshops of the Bauhaus in order to develop and apply contemporary models for education in art and design.
This is an opportunity for 15 Fine Art students (Year 3 and 4) to take part in an Open Studio short residency (3 days) working in collaboration with Northumbria University Newcastle final year interior design students

When: 6-10 Feb 2022
Who: Year 3 and 4 Fine Art students are eligible.
How can I apply: Students will be selected from an open competition involving a short application(Dec 2021).
What: The open studio runs for 3 days during which students would respond in their open project to the Bauhaus collection, architecture and Bauhaus pedagogy. The Open studio will also include exchange with other staff at the Bauhaus including research associates of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation’s Academy department and other student groups at the open studio. Costs: £310 towards travel expenses and accommodation.
