Kevin graduated from Leeds Dental School in 1985.  Following house officer posts he was awarded  Master in Dental Surgery at Leeds. A period of time working for Proctor and Gamble was followed by his Higher Specialist Training in Restorative Dentistry at Newcastle Dental Hospital. He was appointed to the position of Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2000.  He developed and runs the undergraduate programme in conscious sedation.  He has been Lead of the service for Restorative Dentistry and has been Clinical Director since 2010.
