About

Newcastle University Technology-Enhanced Learning Advocates (NUTELA) is an academic-led group promoting the use of technology to enhance learning. The group’s focus is on providing practical, practitioner informed support and in recent months we have hosted a number of “Pizza Pop and Practice” lunch time events.

NUTELA, chaired by Dr Laura Delgaty, also holds an annual half-day networking event in which we will award this year’s peer recognition awards.

NUTELA grew out of the activities of the “UNITE” group which looked at international education.  As a result of feedback from UNITE events the group’s remit has evolved to its current focus on technology enhanced learning (TEL).

Professor Suzanne Cholerton, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) is the sponsor of this initiative.
