Document Design and Information Delivery
When designing your documents, as well as thinking about the design in terms of headings, hyperlinks and images, etc, you should also think about what is the key information that you want users to take away.
For example, if you have a longer document with lots of information, you may wish to think about writing a short summary at the top of an email with some of the key points and you could then use headings respective to the different points to go into more detail.
This can help users access the information without feeling overwhelmed by the volume of content. If you require the recipient(s) to complete specific actions, think about how these are presented. For example, could you write a bullet or numbered list?
