During March and April our LEC Education Fellows have been working on a series of in-school workshops designed to unpack a particular aspect of LEC. We’ve brought these together into a “LEC 101” series and were pleased to offer these to schools via their DoEs who attended the LEC Focussed joint FEC on 30 April.

What are these 101s for?
Each of the 7 topics can be delivered as a webinar or workshop. They are designed to be valuable preparation for schools before curriculum transformation.
The Menu includes:
- Reflection in LEC
- Active Learning in LEC
- Learning Partnerships and Co-Creation
- Writing LEC Assessment Rubrics
- AI in LEC
- Introduction to Feedback Literacies
- Introduction to Authentic and Assured Assessment Criteria
The workshops are deliberately practical in nature, focusing on concrete examples and approaches that demonstrate how LEC principles can be enacted in practice, helping to build confidence and surface challenges early.
The 101 workshops are being delivered by our LEC Fellows and can be stand along events (online or in person) or combined as a bespoke pick-and-mix series to support Learning and Teaching LEC focussed away days.
