Research project: I am currently working on the LevaLects project with Prof. Ghada Khattab (PI).

I am an experimental phonetician and laboratory phonologist. My research has thus far mainly focused on the sound systems of Lebanese Arabic. This has to date included laboratory-phonological exploration and featural analyses of vocalic systems, as well as experimental phonetic explorations of emphatic consonants, with notable focuses on multivariate analyses of tongue contours and acoustic analyses of consonant-vowel boundaries.
