Where have our students gone on year placement?

A year placement is a minimum of 9 months. You usually get paid £16-22k and you open up doors for your future career.

All the company names have hyperlinks so you can get information directly from their website.

Many companies have lab-based and office-based placements.

1. GSK

Lab-based and office-based positions. Highly competitive but excellent future prospects! Apply early for GSK!

Lab and office-based placements, highly competitive and requires an early application.

Predominantly office based, regulatory affairs, marketing etc.

We have 2 students on placement here and they are doing fantastic work – there’s even been nominations for placement student of the year!

Local company with a world wide reach working on molecular diagnostics.

25. L’Oréal

As above, huge company – it’s best to do a careers insight/internship to get on to the full year placement here.

A international company with world-renowned products. Offers both lab and office-based placements.
