The first of Genomics England events were held in Cambridge and Newcastle which are both involved in the collection of samples for the pilot phase of the programme. The event was specifically set up for clinicians and research scientists, but it also included sessions designed specifically for the members of the public and the patients involve din the project.  Dr Chiara Marini Bettolo from the IGM was involved in the meeting which took place at the Centre for Life.
