DrJohn Sayer from the IGM was involved in organising the 3rd Kidney Research funded patient inofrmation day around cystinuria, which was held at the Freeman Hospital. Cystinuria is a condition that causes kidney stones. Men and women are affected equally. Most patients start getting symptoms in their twenties, although it can be earlier in childhood or later.
