Our annual Genetics Matters event celebrating rare disease research in the North East was a great success! With over 80 participants and over 50 presenters, it was a great day at the Discovery Museum with scientific presentations, informal chat, hands on science and presentations from many groups and charity organsiations interested in finding cures for rare genetic conditions.
